Covelight started with a simple frustration. Rent is the biggest bill most people pay, but it's also the least flexible. You either pay the full amount on the first — or you're late. There's no middle ground.
As a long-term renter, the founder found herself constantly teaching landlords how to use technology to make payments easier. She saw the gap: landlords needed simple tools, tenants needed flexibility, and nobody was building for both.
So she built Covelight. An app where tenants split rent into smaller deposits that match their paychecks, and landlords receive one clean payment on rent day. No lending. No credit checks. No fees for tenants.
The name carries meaning. A cove shelters you from the storm. A light guides you home. Covelight exists to be that shelter and light for others.
